Northwest School of Medicine Pioneers Computer-Based Examinations
Northwest School of Medicine (NWSM) has successfully piloted its first-ever computer-based examination, a significant step towards modernizing the assessment process in medical education. The examination was inspected by a team from Khyber Medical University, led by Dr. Brekhna, Director of the Institute of Health Professions Education and Research (IHPER).
During the visit, Dr. Brekhna commended NWSM’s efforts to implement this innovative approach. She highlighted the numerous advantages of computer-based assessments, including enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and a more streamlined examination process. The visit concluded with a productive discussion about the future of assessments in medical education.
