On the 26th of October, 2023, a free breast clinic was held at the Rukhsana Mother and Childcare Trust Hospital in Mathra, Peshawar by NWGH. The clinic was led by Dr. Tarbia Hamid, Consultant General and Breast Surgeon, NWGH, along with Dr. Shandana, Consultant Radiologist, NWGH. The clinic also included the contributions of Post Graduate Trainees, Dr. Rida and Dr. Maimoona, as well as House Officers, Dr. Laraib and Dr. Komal. During the clinic, a significant educational component was carried out with the successful training of 14 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) in breast examinations and the importance of early detection.
